Most 6x6 conversions on the market require a specialty shop and lots of cutting, grinding, and welding. Often times the result isn't very visually appealing and structurally sound, resulting in heavy usage of cover or beauty plates. We wanted to offer our customers something different, something you didn't have to hide and that can be completely bolted on. What we came up with is a frame rail system that looks show quality even with the bed off and is so easy to install that almost any mechanic can do it. Using a combination of existing factory mounting locations and provided thread plates, our system slips over the existing frame rails and bolts on firm and secure. We added 2 additional crossmembers for more frame strength and support as well.
At Track and Trail Off Road, we didn't want to create a kit and leave you hanging on the install, we can build your 6x6 at our facility! Let our team and decades of experience in Off Road Racing and custom vehicle building handle the hard part. You show us your dream, and we will make it a reality!
Ride quality is very important to us, so we have made sure that there are several bolt-on suspension options. Standard 5 link (control arm and track bar suspension) as well as triangulated 4 link configurations are available. For shock options we can do OE style shock and coil spring, coil over, and even rear air ride for vehicles that see a wide variety of weight over the rear axles.
This kit was designed with the everyday enthusiast in mind. Once the bed is off, the frame rail kit can be installed while the vehicle is on the ground, with the tires still on. Once the frame is finished, you can support the rear of the vehicle with jack stands and complete the drivetrain modifications. A qualified shop is always recommended, but this kit can be installed in your driveway!
The added capability of a 6x6 gladiator can be used in several different ways. Rock crawling, overland adventuring, or just a heavier load capable work truck, how and what you haul isn't always the same. We have 3 bed options to suit your style and needs. Let us know what you are building for, and we can line you up with the proper parts!
